Making a Zilpah Tart Dress
Did you know that every Zilpah Tart Dress is hand cut and handmade right here in my Canberra Studio?
I’ve recently had a few people ask me on social media if I sew all the dresses and orders myself, and many have been surprised by the answer. I am a one woman show and complete everything from designing, print designing, pattern making, cutting, sewing, styling, marketing, packaging and posting, and of course the back end of running a business.
I guess this isn’t a side I show as much through my posts so I thought I’d show you what’s involved in making a Zilpah Tart Dress. I like keeping my business the way it is, so long as I can manage to keep up with demand.
I think offering a beautiful product that is handmade provides something that is far more personal, having the human touch, and a story behind each dress.
