Teaching Tuesdays 🎓💗

Tuesday nights mean I’m back in the classroom teaching fashion at TAFE for the new semester, so comfort is always high on my priority list.

Last night’s outfit was my Turtle Neck Dress in Blush Feathers, paired with pink statement earrings and my favourite rose gold shoes. I love how easy these dresses are to wear all day, whether I’m teaching, sewing in the studio or heading out afterwards.

A few times a year I drive to Sydney in search of beautiful limited edition fabrics.

After a few hours of hunting, my “designer” look quickly turns into “bag lady pushing an overloaded shopping trolley several blocks back to the car.” 💪🛒

Not exactly glamorous… but it’s one of my favourite parts of running Zilpah Tart.

I found some gorgeous new prints (and a few customer favourites making a comeback), so there are lots of new limited edition dresses to look forward to over the coming months.

Now to unload the car… and start sewing!
